Lok Sabha elections 2024: States with highest voter turnout in phase 1 of voting

Lok Sabha elections 2024: With the end of phase 1 of voting for the Lok Sabha Elections on Friday, April 19, the Election Commission of India (ECI) released the data for the total voter turnout.

According to the ECI, it was reported that the average voter turnout from the 21 states and union territories is over 60%, with Tripura having the highest voter share, exceeding 80%.

The first phase of the polls will be conducted across 102 Lok Sabha constituencies in 21 states and union territories, and the second phase is scheduled to take place on April 26 in 89 constituencies in 13 states.
