UP Municipal Elections Result 2023: Voting has been completed and the fate of candidates is now sealed in the ballot boxes and EVMs for the UP Nikay Chunav 2023. Uttar Pradesh Urban Local Body (ULB) elections were held in two phases — on May 4 and May 11. The counting of votes for UP Municipal Elections Result 2023 will be held on Saturday - May 13, along with Karnataka Assembly Elections 2023 result.

The polling was held with both EVMs and ballot papers for different posts, and although the counting will begin at 8AM, the final UP Nikay Chunav Results may come only by late Saturday.

UP Municipal Elections were held for a total of 14,684 posts.

As per the Uttar Pradesh State Election Commission, these included 17 posts of mayor, 1,420 of corporators, 199 of nagar palika parishad chairpersons, 5,327 of nagar palika parishad members, 544 of nagar panchayat chairpersons and 7,178 posts of nagar panchayat members.

UP Municipal Election Result 2023: UP Nikay Chunav 1st Phase districts

The districts where mayoral and municipal elections were held in the first phase are Saharanpur, Agra, Moradabad, Firozabad, Mathura, Jhansi, Prayagraj, Lucknow, Gorakhpur and Varanasi. Voting was held for 103 nagar palika parishad chairpersons and 2,740 nagar palika parishad members posts in these districts.

In UP Municipal Election's second phase, the polling was held in 38 districts — Meerut, Bareilly, Aligarh, Kanpur, Chitrakoot, Ayodhya, Basti, Azamgarh and Mirzapur. Voting in the second phase of UP Nikay Chunav was held for 17 posts of mayors, 199 posts of Nagar Palika Parishad chairmen and 544 Nagar Panchayat chairperson.
