Mizoram Election 2023 Result: The counting for the Mizoram Assembly Elections started at 8 am today (December 4, 2023). Mizoram witnessed voting on November 7 for 40 constituencies, with a reported 53 per cent voter turnout among the 8.57 lakh electors. The counting of postal ballots is taking place in the first half hour and will be conducted at 13 centres across the state and 40 counting halls, according to a senior Election Commission of India (ECI) official. There are 399 EVM tables and 56 postal ballot tables in 40 counting halls across the state. Nearly 4,000 personnel are involved in the counting of votes, as per the state election commission.
