Before going to file his nomination, PM Modi offered prayers at the Kaal Bhairav Temple in Varanasi. On his nomination day, home minister Amit Shah, defence minister Rajnath Singh, BJP chief JP Nadda, UP CM Yogi Adityanath, SBSP chief Om Prakash Rajbhar were also in Varanasi.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi filed his nomination today (Tuesday, May 14, 2024) from the Varanasi Parliamentary constituency.
Modi is the sitting Member of Parliament from the Varanasi Lok Sabha constituency.
The PM on Tuesday reached the collectorate office around 12 noon in Varanasi to file his nomination.
Before going to file his nomination, Modi offered prayers at the Kaal Bhairav Temple in Varanasi.
On his nomination day, home minister Amit Shah, defence minister Rajnath Singh, BJP chief JP Nadda, UP CM Yogi Adityanath, SBSP chief Om Prakash Rajbhar were also in Varanasi.
Among other prominent BJP leaders, Rajasthan chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, Haryana chief minister Nayab Singh Saini, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma, Goa CM Pramod Sawant, Tripura counterpart Manik Saha, and Sikkim chief minister Prem Singh Tamang were also in Varanasi to attend the event.
