Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Phase 3 Polling Updates: Campaigning for the third phase of the the 2024 Lok Sabha elections ended on Monday. The voting will be held across 94 Lok Sabha constituencies in 10 states and two union territories on Tuesday, May 7, 2024. As many as 1,300 candidates, including 120 women, are contesting in the third phase of the Lok Sabha elections. Some of the main candidates in the fray are Amit Shah, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Pralhad Joshi, Mansukh Mandaviya, SP Singh Baghel, and Parshottam Rupala.

In Uttar Pradesh, voters in Sambhal, Hathras, Agra (SC), Fatehpur Sikri, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Etah, Budaun, Aonla, and Bareilly will cast their votes in the elections on Tuesday.

Many members of Mulayam Singh Yadav's family are also contesting in the third phase of the poll in Uttar Pradesh.

In all, as many as 80 Lok Sabha seats are going to polls spread across all the seven phases.

In Madhya Pradesh, voters in Bhind, Bhopal, Guna, Gwalior, Morena, Rajgarh, Sagar, Vidisha, and Betul will go for polls.

In Maharashtra, Baramati, Raigad, Osmanabad, Latur (SC), Solapur (SC), Madha, Sangli, Satara, Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg, Kolhapur, and Hatkanangle seats are going for polling on Tuesday.

In Gujarat, elections will be held on Tuesday at the Kachchh, Banaskantha, Patan, Mahesana, Sabarkantha, Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad East, Ahmedabad West, Surendranagar, Rajkot, Porbandar, Jamnagar, Junagadh, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Anand, Kheda, Panchmahal, Dahod, Vadodara, Chhota Udaipur, Bharuch, Bardoli, Surat, Navsari, and Valsad seats.

Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Phase 3: Who are key candidates?

In the third phase of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, as many as 1,300 candidates, including 120 women, are contesting.

Some of the key candidates in the fray are union ministers Amit Shah, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Pralhad Joshi, Mansukh Mandaviya, SP Singh Baghel and Parshottam Rupala. Ex-Madhya Pradesh chief ministers Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Digvijaya Singh are contesting in the polls.

Former Karnataka chief minister Basavaraj Bommai is also contesting in the third phase.

Lok Sabha elections 2024 Phase 3: Polling rescheduled for Anantnag-Rajouri 

The election at Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag-Rajouri Lok Sabha seat was scheduled for May 7.

However, after many connectivity issues emerged, the Election Commission of India (ECI) rescheduled the polls to May 25.

The current Lok Sabha elections are being held in seven phases.

The first and second phases were held on April 10 and 26, respectively.

While the third phase is set to take place on Tuesday, voting for the fourth phase is scheduled for May 13.

The fifth phase polls will be held on May 20, the sixth phase on May 25, and the seventh phase on June 1.
