Jharkhand Assembly Election Results Winner List 2024: Amid tight security, the counting of votes is ongoing for the 81 assembly consitituencies in the state. The 81 assembly seats in Jharkhand went to the polls in two phases, held on November 13 and 20. The state saw a record voter turnout of 67.59 per cent, the highest since its creation in 2000.

The winners of 63 consituenties have been declared, including Rajmahal, Borio, Barhait, Jarmundi, Kodarma, Pakaur, Jamtara, and Ramgarh. By 6:57 pm, the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) has secured 28 seats and is leading in 6 seats out 34. Meanwhile, The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has won 17 seats out of 21 consituenties. Moreover, The Indian National Congress party won 12 seats out of 16 seats.

The Election Commission of India reported that JMM candidate Umakant Rajak won the Chandankiyari seat in Bokaro district by a margin of 33,733 votes. JMM candidate Basant Soren, the brother of Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren, also defeated BJP’s Sunil Soren in Dumka by 14,588 votes.

The first phase covered 43 constituencies, while the second phase saw 38 seats up for grabs. The state witnessed a fierce electoral battle between the JMM-led INDIA bloc and the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA).
