As per the data available at Election Commission of India at 10:24 AM, Ravindra Jadeja's wife Rivaba was leading in Jamnagar north assembly constituency in Gujarat election results on Thursday. Jadeja has secured 14,905 votes so far while AAP's Karshanbhai Karmur has secured 7,235 votes. Congress' Baipendrasinh Jadeja was at the third spot with 5,288 votes.
In Morbi assembly seat, BJP's Amrutiya Kantilal Shivlal was leading by a margin of less than 500 votes over his nearest rival Kasambhai Hajibhai Jerabhai of the Congress party, as per the latest trends by the Election Commission website. AAP's Pankaj Kantilal Ransariya has secured 904 votes so far, as per the website. Morbi captured headlines after the collapse of a British-era suspension bridge on October 30 wherein 140 people, including 45 children died.

The counting of votes for the high-stakes Gujarat assembly election began at 8 am amid high security at 37 centres in the presence of Election Commission of India (ECI)-appointed observers across the state. At stake are 182 seats up for grabs between the incumbent BJP and the Congress party and the AAP.
