Assembly Elections 2024, Vidhan Sabha Chunav 2025 Election Dates and Result Date: The Election Commission of India (ECI) has announced the dates for for Assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim.

Arunachal Pradesh & Sikkim - April 19
Andhra Pradesh - May 13
Odisha (in four phases) - May 13, May 20, May 25 and June 1
Counting of votes and results of all Assembly Elections on June 4
Also, Lok Sabha Elections 2024 will be held in seven phases starting from April 19. Counting of votes and results will be announced on June 4.
According to Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar, there are 97 crore registered voters in India. For the upcoming elections, there will be over 10.5 lakh polling stations manned by 1.5 crore personnel and a total of 55 lakh EVMs will be used.
Out of 97 crore voters, there are 49.7 crore males and 47.1 crore females along with 48,000 transgenders. Kumar said that 1.8 crore first-time voters have been added to the list.
"Our electoral roll includes 82 lakh voters of over 85 years of age, 2.18 lakh centenarians," he added.
Kumar said that the last 11 state polls were peaceful and violence-free with near-zero repolls. "We will further improve it going forward," he emphasized.
