Devendra Fadnavis has taken oath as Maharashtra Chief Minister (CM) today, December 5 for the third time. PM Narendra Modi is also present at the oath ceremony in Mumbai.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union ministers Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari and Rajnath Singh, chief ministers of NDA-ruled states and prominent personalities from industry and Bollywood on Thursday attended the swearing-in of Devendra Fadnavis as Maharashtra Chief Minister here.
Governor C P Radhakrishnan administered the oath of office to Fadnavis and his two deputies.

Fadnavis emerged as the frontrunner for the top post as he was the face of the BJP's campaign and led the party to victory in 132 seats in the 288-member House. The BJP-Shiv Sena-NCP `Mahayuti' coalition has a commanding majority of 230 seats.
