Delhi MCD Election 2022 news: The Congress' Delhi unit on November 30 (Wednesday) released its manifesto for Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) elections. Launching the manifesto, Congress leader Supriya Shrinate said the water provided by MCD had always been "unfit" for regular use and extremely contaminated to consume.

Here are top promises by Congress in its manifesto 

1) RO water purifiers to the poor

2) Day-boarding facility at MCD-run schools

3) Waiving off previous house tax dues. Congress promised to halve the tax currently being levied. 

4) Pollution- and garbage-free national capital

5) Clearing landfill sites

6) Better parking facilities for all

7) Clearing broken sewerage lines and clogged drains 

8) Involving Residents' Welfare Associations (RWAs) in the civic body and provide employment to the youths.

The 250-ward Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) goes to polls on December 4 (Sunday), 2022.

The result to the 250-ward Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) will be announced on on December 7 (Wednesday).
