Madhya Pradesh Chhindwara Election Result 2023: The counting of votes for Chhindwara, one of the 230 seats in the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly, took place amid tight security on December 3.
Chhindwara Madhya Pradesh Assembly election 2023: Although the Indian National Congress (INC) failed to emerge victorious in the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly election, former Chief Minister and Congress leader Kamal Nath secured a win from the Chhindwara assembly constituency.
According to the figures released by the Election Commission, Kamal Nath received 1,32,302 votes, defeating the Bharatiya Janata Party's candidate Vivek Bunty Sahu by a margin of 36,594 votes.
The Bahujan Samaj Party's Thakur Trivikram Hirpachi, who also contested the seat, secured the third spot.
The BJP crossed the majority mark comfortably and was set to retain power in Madhya Pradesh with a landslide victory.
Chhindwara is one of the assembly seats and districts of Madhya Pradesh, and is also one of the 29 Lok Sabha constituencies in the state.
