Assembly Election 2023 update: The counting of the votes in four states—Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, and Telangana—is underway, with trends indicating that the BJP will win comfortably in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan and has the upper hand in Chhattisgarh, while Congress is expected to clinch a clean sweep in Telangana.

• Last seen, the BJP was leading on 51 seats in Chattisgarh, Congress on 38, while others on 1. [Total Seats: 90, Majority mark: 46]
• In Madhya Pradesh, the BJP was leading on 165 seats while the Congress was leading on 59 seats. [Total seats:  230, Majority mark: 116]
