Some of the key candidates who are in the fray in the assembly elections are Odisha assembly speaker Pramila Malik, Prashant Muduli, BJP Odisha unit head Manmohan Samal, BJP national vice-president Baijayant Panda. Naveen Patnaik from Biju Janata Dal is the chief minister of the state. Odisha has a total of 21 Lok Sabha seats.
In today's election, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, other BJP leaders Kangana Ranaut, Anurag Thakur, and Ravi Kishan, Congress leader Vikramaditya Singh, TMC leader Abhishek Banerjee, and RJD leader Misa Bharti, are some of the key candidates.
Voting has finished on all LOk Sabha seats seven phases.
Voting turnout in the first six phases was 66.14 per cent, 66.71 per cent, 65.68 per cent, 69.16 per cent, 62.2 per cent, and 63.36 per cent, respectively. The 2024 Lok Sabha elections is featuring billion voters and 8,360 candidates.

Naveen Patnaik-led BJD was the leading party in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections as it won 12 seats out of a total of 21.The BJP was the second-best party with eight seats. The Indian National COngress, on the other hand, won only one sear. In the Odisha assembly, Biju Janata Dal had 113 seats, the Bharatiya Janta Party had 23 seats, the Congress had nine seats, while others had only two seats.
