Madhya Pradesh Lahar Election Result 2023: The vote counting for the Lahar constituency is underway. The BJP's Ambrish Sharma 'Guddu' is leading over the Congress' Dr Govind Sharma by 4163 votes. Ambrish has 22345 votes, while Sharma has 18182 votes after the sixth round of counting. Lahar represents one of the total 230 assembly seats in Madhya Pradesh. In the 2023 Madhya Pradesh assembly elections 2023, a total of 15 candidates are in the fray at the Lahar assembly seat. The fate of the candidates for the Lahar Assembly seat in the Madhya Pradesh assembly elections 2023 will be decided by 67.24 per cent voter turn out, out of which, 67.69 per cent were males and 66.70 per cent were females. Voting for the Lahar Assembly seat took place on November 17.

The Lahar constituency came into existence in 1951 as part of Madhya Bharat. Ram Chaudhary of the Indian National Congress won the seat that year. in 1962, the seat became the part of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly, Prabhudayal of the Indian National Congress won the election that year.
In the last Assembly polls, in 2018, Dr Govind Singh of the Indian National Congress emerged the winner from the Lahar seat in Madhya Pradesh.
