Gujarat Election Results 2022 LIVE Updates: Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday registered a record victory in Gujarat after the party won 156 seats in the assembly elections. The Congress finished a distant second with 17 seats, while the Aam Aadmi party finished a dimsal third with just 5 seats. PM Modi addressed the party workers at BJP office in Delhi at 6.30 PM. Aam Aadmi Party National Convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday said that Gujarat is considered a stronghold of the BJP, but we have been able to breach this fort. Next time, we will win the fort, he told party workers.

BJP candidate Patel Raghavjibhai Hansrajbhai was leading by a massive margin in Jamnagar rural assembly constituency against nearest rival AAP's Prakash Dhirubhai Donga in Gujarat election results today. Patel has secured 79,056 votes, while Donga has garnered 31,656 votes. BSP's Kasam Nurmamad Khafi was trailing at the third spot with 29,133 votes.
