Chhattisgarh Exit Polls 2023, Chhattisgarh Assembly election exit polls result 2023 LIVE: A majority of exit polls predict an edge to the ruling Congress party in the 90-member Chhattisgarh Assembly. The predictions come as India completes a 24-day-long voting process to elect governments in Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana and Mizoram. Voting to elect the 90-seat Chhattisgarh Assembly took place in a two-phase process on November 7 and November 17. The Assembly elections in Chhattisgarh and four other states are the last before the 2024 Lok Sabha polls (general election).

The two-phase Chhattisgarh polls will determine the electoral fate of political heavyweights like Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, his deputy TS Singh Deo, eight state ministers, and four members of Parliament.

While voting under the first phase to elect 20 members of the 90-seat Assembly in the Naxal-affected state was conducted under tight security on November 7, polling for the second and final phase for the remaining 70 constituencies was carried out on November 17.

 

The results of Chhattisgarh Assembly polls will be declared on December 3, 2023.

    Authorities seized freebies, drugs, cash and liquor amounting to more than Rs 2,000 crore during the polls in Mizoram, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan, which was more than seven times in comparison to the 2018 Assembly polls, according to the EC.
