World Elephant Day 2022: 5 destinations for Elephant Safaris in India - Check list

World Elephant Day 2022: The World Elephant Day is dedicated to the preservation and protection of the world's elephants. The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has shared a message of conserving the creatures on their Twitter handle.

"On this #WorldElephantDay, let's pledge to conserve these majestic creatures who are the architects of ecosystems & gardeners of our forests.
#WorldElephantDay2022," the Ministry tweeted.

"The successes in elephant conservation must be viewed in context of the larger efforts underway in India to minimize human-animal conflict, and integrating local communities and their traditional wisdom in furthering environmental consciousness," Prime Minister Narendra Modi also tweeted.
