Delhi Metro Timing Update For Lok Sabha Elections 2024: DMRC changes timings of metro train services for voting; check time table of May 25

To ensure that there is no inconvenience to metro passengers on the day of voting, DMRC has adjusted the metro schedule. The purpose of this change is to accommodate the staff deployed for election duty on May 25.

DMRC took the social media platform X and announced that on May 25, 2024 (Saturday), Delhi Metro train services on all lines will begin at 4:00 AM to facilitate election duty personnel.

Trains on all lines will run at an interval of 30 minutes till 6:00 am. After 6:00 am, regular metro services will resume for the rest of the day.

Please note that this adjustment in metro timings is for one day only.

This year, Lok Sabha elections are being held in seven phases. Voting for the first five phases has been completed.

The sixth phase of voting, covering seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi, will take place on Saturday, May 25. BJP is contesting on all seven seats in Delhi, while Aam Aadmi Party and Congress are running in alliance.

Apart from Delhi, the sixth phase of voting will also be held in Bihar, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal.

The seventh and final phase of voting is scheduled to be held on June 1, with all results to be announced on June 4.
