The name Worm Moon comes from the fact that this full moon of winter typically appears around the time when earthworms begin to emerge from the soil as the weather starts getting warmer.

Worm Moon 2023 Timings: When is the best time to see the Worm Moon?

According to Wion, Worm Moon can be seen in India on Tuesday evening, March 7. Also, the moon will be brightest at 6:30 PM IST.
However, the Worm Moon will be visible in the USA at 7:40 AM EST and in the UK at 12:40 PM GMT on Tuesday, March 7.

It should be noted that the Moon will look bigger and considerably brighter than usual in the UK, USA, India, Australia, and New Zealand. Beginning on March 7, the Worm Moon will be visible in the US for three straight nights. However, the Moon's size will continue to decline.
