World Malaria Day this year will be marked under the theme “Time to deliver zero malaria: invest, innovate, implement”, as per World Health Organization (WHO).  
Within the theme, WHO will focus on 'implement' – and notably the critical importance of reaching marginalized populations with the tools and strategies that are available today, the WHO website read.

World Malaria Day was instituted by WHO Member States during the World Health Assembly of 2007.

  • Weakness
  • Other flu symptoms

-Time is of the essence when detecting and treating malaria.

As per WHO data, 619 000 malaria deaths were recorded in 2021. 247 million new cases of malaria were recorded in 2021.
