World Emoji Day 2023: World Emoji Day is celebrated every year on July 17. The event was started by Jeremy Burge, the founder of Emojipedia, to honour the emoji and the impact it has had on digital communication. On this day emojis appeared on most platforms, including Apple and Google. The day was selected for celebrating World Emoji Day because it is the date shown on the "Calendar" emoji on most platforms. World Emoji Day continues to increase in popularity and its significance reflects the expanding role that emojis play in our everyday interactions.
