World Day against Child Labour: World Day Against Child Labour is observed every year on June 12 to raise awareness about the urgency of eradicating child labour. On this day, governments, local authorities, civil society, international workers, employers and organizations get together to ‘point out the child labour problem and define the guidelines to help child labourers’. The day reminds us of some actions against individuals, organisations, and governments to take decisive measures to combat child labour and spread awareness about it.

The International Labour Organization (ILO) established first observed this day in 2002, and it has been recognised as a global day since then.
