'Can hold the stock till Rahul Gandhi becomes PM': How a caller described his bullishness

'Keeping a stock until Rahul Gandhi becomes the Prime Minister' can't be used as a phrase, for sure. 

But it can perhaps be passed for long duration or eternity, at least, according to a caller on the popular Hindi business news channel, Zee Business. 

He was answering a question from Zee Business's Swati Raina on a show where Vikas Sethi was the expert.

When Swati asked from the caller as how long he wanted to hold shares of Olectra Greentech, he said, "I have 1500 shares of Olectra Greentech bought at Rs 1260 each. I want to hold the shares till Rahul Gandhi becomes the Prime Minister."

A surprised anchor asked him to repeat the sentence, to which he reiterated his sentence again. 

The anchor and the guest broke into laughter at his quick reply.

The phrase was used as a mark of longevity or eternity; only the user could tell, but Sethi considered it a sign of long duration, as he said, "One thing is for sure: he is a long-term investor."
Sethi might have assumed it was probably because an investor can invest for long time and not for eternity. 

Whatever the intent of the caller, it is tough to gauge, but his smart reply switched a serious discussion into laughter mode and proved that every time is opportune for a smart reply or a quick laughter.
