Watch: Oh no! GoFirst car comes dangerously close to IndiGo aircraft at Delhi airport, collision averted
The incident prompted the DGCA to launch a probe into the matter.
New Delhi: A ground operations vehicle of GoFirst airline came dangerously close to an IndiGo aircraft at Delhi's IGI airport Terminal 2 on Tuesday. The incident took place as an IndiGo aircraft was preparing to fly from Delhi to Patna. No damage or injury was reported in the incident.
The incident was caught on camera. The video of the incident is now being widely circulated on the internet. In the video, the car can be seen under the nose area of the airplane.
According to news agency ANI, an Indigo flight 6E-2022 (Delhi to Patna) was preparing to take off when a car belonging to GoFirst airline went under it narrowly avoiding the collision with the nose area of the aircraft.

The incident prompted the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) to launch a probe into the matter.
The driver of the car was later subjected to the Breath Analyser (BA) test to check if he had consumed alcohol and it was found negative.
The DGCA confirmed that there was no damage to the aircraft or injury to any person. The aviation regulator further ordered an inquiry into the incident.
The aircraft departed as per the scheduled departure time.
