A Vistara flight, UK 22, operating from Paris to Delhi, received a security threat via social media shortly before its landing at the Indira Gandhi International Airport. The airline promptly informed all relevant authorities, following established safety protocols.

In a statement, a Vistara spokesperson said, "The aircraft landed safely at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi, and all necessary checks were conducted as per the guidance of the security agencies. The safety and security of our customers, crew, and aircraft remain our topmost priority."

Authorities acted swiftly, ensuring that all safety procedures were followed upon the plane's arrival. The flight's passengers and crew were unharmed, and no immediate danger was detected after the threat was assessed.

Union Civil Aviation Minister, Ram Mohan Naidu, Addresses Hoax Calls

Union Civil Aviation Minister, Ram Mohan Naidu, responded to the incident, stating that the government is committed to preventing such hoax threats in the future. "We are ensuring these kinds of hoax incidents do not happen again. Police are investigating, and we are trying to identify those responsible. Both airlines and passengers face significant issues due to these hoaxes," Naidu said.

The minister further added that consultations with various ministries, airlines, and other relevant authorities are ongoing to strengthen preventive measures.

No Conspiracy Involved, Says Minister

On the topic of a possible conspiracy behind such incidents, Naidu dismissed the notion, stating, "There is no conspiracy. These are minor incidents, often involving young people who do not fully understand the seriousness of their actions." He emphasized that while investigations continue, these occurrences are typically the result of "petty actions" rather than orchestrated plots.
