Passengers will also be able to purchase the Navratri special thali online, through mobile app or website routes.

Navratri, which translates to "nine nights", is a significant Hindu festival celebrated over 9 nights and 10 days. Devotees follow a strict dietary routine during this period to reflect their commitment, devotion, and self-discipline.

The Indian Railways--one of the world's largest employers--has launched this facility at select stations in light of the festival.
