Sarabhai vs Sarabhai actress death: ‘Sarabhai vs Sarabhai’ actress Vaibhavi Upadhyaya, best known for playing Jasmine in the popular 2000s sitcom, has lost her life in a car accident, news agency ANI reported. The incident took place in Himachal Pradesh when the actress was travelling in a car with her fiance. The news was shared by 'Sarabhai vs Sarabhai' producer JD Matheja through an Instagram post.
“Life is so unpredictable. A very fine actress, dear friend Vaibhavi Upadhyay, popularly known as 'Jasmine' of Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, passed away. She met with an accident in the north. The family will bring her to Mumbai tomorrow morning around 11 am for the last rites. RIP Vaibhavi (sic)," the post read.

Upadhyaya was a known face. Beside'Sarabhai vs Sarabhai', she also worked in shows such as 'CID', 'Adaalat' and 'Kya Qusoor Hai Amala Ka'. She featured in Deepika Padukone-starrer 'Chhapaak'.
