Limited edition Sachin Tendulkar Black Cards sold in minutes, the highest fetches Rs 80,000

A day after legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar’s 50th birthday, Rario, a digital cricket collectibles platform, on Tuesday launched a limited edition of Tendulkar Black Cards, which were sold in a blink. 

"Wow, that was fast! All of Sachin Tendulkar’s limited edition Black Cards sold out in the blink of an eye!" the company tweeted.

The black cards are limited-edition collectibles and offered an opportunity to interact with Sachin Tendulkar. The initial price of the card was Rs 50,000, which went up as high as Rs 80,000 due to strong demand. The company had only offered 10 cards. Cricketers Zaheer Khan and Dinesh Karthik were among the lucky few who managed to secure one card each.

Zaheer Khan said in a tweet, "As a bowler, there's nothing more satisfying than taking a wicket. But buying Sachin's limited edition card on @Rariohq comes pretty close!"

Dinesh Karthik also tweeted after managing to buy the black card, "Just got my hands on @sachin_rt's limited edition card on @rariohq and I have to say, it's like hitting the perfect cover drive - pure joy and satisfaction!"

Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar turned 50 on April 24, 2023. He is regarded as one of the greatest cricketers of all time. The former renowned Indian batter served India for 24 years, setting numerous records and receiving numerous honours.
