Ramadan Mubarak 2024: In India, people observed their first Roza on March 12, 2024, and the month of Ramadan will culminate with Eid al Fitr.
Ramadan Mubarak 2024: Ramadan days are considered pious and significant for Muslims across the world. Muslims observe a strict fast (Rozah) from sunrise to sunset each day during Ramadan. People who observe Ramadan eat before sunrise and after sunset during the fasting month. In India, people observed their first Roza on March 12, 2024, and the month of Ramadan will culminate with Eid al Fitr. The last Roza will be observed on April 9, 2024. The meal consumed before sunrise is called sehri and the meal consumed after sunset is called Iftar.
Ramadan Mubarak 2024: Dua for Sehri and Iftar
The dua for Sehri is “Wa bisawmi ghadinn nawaiytu min shahri Ramadan”.
The meaning of this Dua is - ‘I intend to keep the fast for tomorrow in the month of Ramadan’.”
The dua for Iftar is “Allahumma laka sumtu wa ala rizq-ika-aftartu.”
The meaning of this Dua is “O Allah! For You, I have fasted and upon your provision, I have broken my fast.”
