Paytm Travel Carnival: Payments and financial services company Paytm has launched the much-anticipated "Paytm Travel Carnival" in celebration of Independence Day. Running from August 10th to 20th, this special event offers travelers exclusive discounts of up to 25 per cent on flight and train bookings for both domestic and international destinations.

Through strategic partnerships with major banks, including ICICI Bank, Bank of Baroda, RBL Bank, HSBC, and DBS Bank, Paytm is providing significant savings on travel expenses. ICICI Bank customers can use promo code 'ICICICC' to receive a flat 12 per cent discount of up to Rs 1,800 on domestic flights, while the code 'ICICIIF' offers a flat 10 per cent discount of up to Rs 5,000 on international flights. Similarly, Bank of Baroda users can apply 'BOBSALE' for domestic flights and 'INTBOBSALE' for international flights, enjoying discounts of up to Rs 1,500 and  Rs 5,000, respectively.

Commenting on the offer a Paytm Travel Spokesperson said, "We are making traveling convenient and affordable with our Independence Day Travel Carnival Sale until August 20th. By partnering with leading banks such as RBL, ICICI, Bank of Baroda, DBS, and HSBC, we are able to offer exclusive discounts that further enhance savings on flights, bus and train ticket bookings." 

RBL Bank, HSBC, and DBS Bank customers can also benefit from similar promotional codes, ensuring substantial savings across various booking categories. Additionally, Paytm is offering a flat 25 per cent discount of up to Rs 500 on bus tickets when using the codes 'BUSDBS' and 'BUSBOB.'

Beyond discounts, Paytm Travel enhances the booking experience with features such as Free Cancellation at just Rs 29 for train bookings, the Ticket Assure service for guaranteed train tickets, and Booking for Female options for a safer bus journey. Customers can also enjoy zero payment gateway charges when paying via UPI, making the platform more accessible and cost-effective.
