However, the Press Information Bureau (PIB) has fact-checked and debunked this claim, asserting that the video is completely fake. According to PIB, the boxes shown in the video, which are kept outside a hall on the NTA campus, are empty and do not contain any exam-related material.

“There is no exam-related material in the boxes kept outside the NTA hall,” clarified PIBFactCheck in response to the viral video.

In an exclusive ground report, a media report highlighted that several trunks were seen under the open sky on the NTA campus. While some boxes appeared sealed, many others had broken seals. The report mentioned that the latest exam date for CUET (UG) is 15th May 2024, and the results are yet to be released. Questions have been raised regarding the NTA’s stance and clarification on this matter.

Despite the video’s implications, official sources maintain that there is no breach of exam security, emphasising that the boxes outside the hall do not contain any sensitive or exam-related materials.
