National Chartered Accountant Day 2023: National CA Day, also referred to Chartered Accountant Day, is celebrated on July 1 every year. The day is dedicated to commemorating the establishment of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) in 1949 by an Act of Parliament in India. This year, ICAI celebrates its 75th year of existence.

The organisation functions under the administrative control of the corporate affairs ministry. It is the only licensing and regulatory body for accounting and auditing professionals in the country.
