Makar Sankranti 2024: The festival of Makar Sankranti holds huge significance all over the country. Usually celebrated every year on January 14 or January 15, this year it will be celebrated on Monday, January 15. The festival is dedicated to the Sun God, or Lord Surya, and signifies the movement of the Sun leaving Sagittarius and entering Capricorn as per Vedic astrology.
