As per government data, India has 29.11 crores of registered LPG cylinder users spread across three state-owned firms. All these LPG service providers have multiple platforms - website, phone call and sms - through which a customer can book a gas cylinder. To further enhance the convenience of customers booking LPG cylinders, oil firms have not introduced a facility to book it through the popular instant messaging platform WhatsApp.

Customers who are using HP gas cylinders can make the booking through Whatsapp

Step 1: Customers must save the HP number 9222201222.

Step 2: From the registered mobile send “HP GAS BOOK.”

Step 3: You will then be requested to answer a few questions by sending "Yes" in the chat.

Step 4: You will receive the confirmation message. 

How to book Bharat gas cylinder through Whatsapp

Customers have been given the option to book Bharat gas cylinder online by sending a message through Whatsapp.

Step 1: Save the Bharat Petroleum Corp Ltd (BPCL) number 1800224344.

Step 2: Open the chatbox, send “BOOK” or “1,” and get the booking confirmation message.

Step 3: You will be given a payment link.

Step 4: The booking must be through the registered mobile number only.

How to book Indane gas cylinder through Whatsapp

Indane customers can now book LPG gas cylinders through WhatsApp by following the process below: 

Step 1: First, save the phone number 7588888824 to your contacts

Step 2: Now, from your registered mobile number, send ‘Refill’ to the above number

Step 3:  If your mobile number is not registered, send ‘Refill <16-digit ID>’

Step 4: Indane will then send you a digital payment link and other pre-delivery check updates
