On the last day of the Lok Sabha session on Saturday, (February 10, 2024), Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that his government has reformed, performed and transformed in its second term starting 2019.

The Prime Minister said that many big decisions in the service of the country were taken during the 17th Lok Sabha, because of which the country was experiencing new confidence.

He said that all MPs have played an important role during the tenure of the 17th Lok Sabha and the country is experiencing new confidence.

"The productivity of 17th Lok Sabha was 97 per cent. Thirty bills were passed in both houses in the first session. The promotion of digital technology in the Parliament was done," said Modi. He expects the 18th Lok Sabha to start with a new resolution. "100 per cent work will be done in the 18th Lok Sabha,"

Speaking about the achievements of the Lok Sabha, he said, "The country chaired the G-20, which increased India's prestige in the world. 'Leading important tasks in our House. Seventy-five years of independence celebrated with great pomp. The Parliament Library was open to public.

"Game-changer reforms took place during this tenure. The foundation of a strong India of the 21st century was laid. Removal of 370 provided social justice. We made strict laws against terrorism. Now the Judicial Code has come into force in the country. British laws existed for 75 years. Now, there is no more penal code, there is justice code. Muslim sisters got freedom from triple talaq. There will be mention of Nari Shakti Vandan Act," said Modi.
