As of August 1, new rules implemented by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) require FASTag users to complete their KYC (Know Your Customer) process. This applies particularly to FASTags that are three years or older. If you haven’t completed the KYC for your FASTag, here's how you can do it both online and offline.

Required Documents for FASTag KYC

- Passport
- Voter ID
- Aadhaar card
- Driving license
- PAN card
- NREGA Job Card
- Vehicle RC (Registration Certificate)

FASTag: How to Complete KYC Online

1. Visit the IHMCL FASTag Portal.
2. Log in using your mobile number.
3. Click on "My Profile."
4. Check your KYC status.
5. Click on the KYC tab and select your customer type.
6. Provide necessary details, including ID proof and address.

FASTag: How to Update KYC Offline

You can also update your KYC offline in accordance with RBI guidelines. Visit the bank that issued your FASTag, fill out the application form, and the bank will update your FASTag account details.

FASTag New Rules: Who Needs to Update Their KYC?

Anyone with a FASTag that is three years old must update their KYC. Additionally, if your FASTag is five years old, you will need to replace it. Other rules have also come into effect as of today. Make sure to follow these guidelines to avoid deactivation of your FASTag.
