How to know FASTag KYC status
There are several ways to know if your KYC is complete or incomplete, such as through the FASTag issuer and the authorisation portal:
FASTag Issuer: Contact your FASTag-issuing bank or visit their website/mobile app. Banks typically have a dedicated section for checking FASTag KYC status.
IHMCL Portal: Visit the Indian Highways Management Company Limited (IHMCL) FASTag portal (https://ihmcl.co.in/fastag-user/). Under the "My Profile" section, you can get or know your KYC status.
NCPI Portal: Visit the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) website (https://www.npci.org.in/what-we-do/netc-fastag/check-your-netc-fastag-st...). Enter your vehicle details to see the status of all FASTags associated with it.
FASTag KYC: How to update via online
For FASTags issued by NHAI:
Step-1 Visit https://fastag.ihmcl.com/.
Step-2 Log in.
Step-3 Update your KYC online.
For FASTags issued by banks:
Step-1 Visit https://www.netc.org.in/.
Step-2 Under "Request for NETC FASTag," select your issuing bank and click on the "visit website" link.
Step-3 Log in to your bank's FASTag portal.
Step-4 Update your KYC online.
FASTag KYC: What if it is incomplete?
If your KYC is incomplete, you'll likely receive notifications via SMS, email, or from your FASTag issuing bank. It could be the reason why authorities deactivate your account. The procedure for updating KYC information generally involves:
Online update: Many banks and the IHMCL portal offer the option to update KYC details online. You'll need to upload scanned copies of the required documents.
Bank visit: If online updates are not available, visit a branch of your FASTag-issuing bank with the necessary documents for in-person KYC verification.

- Vehicle Registration Certificate (RC)
- Owner's ID proof (Aadhaar card, Pan card, passport, etc.
- Owner's Address proof (Driving licence, utility bills, etc.)
- Passport-sized photograph of the vehicle owner
