Elon Musk launches 'Burnt Hair' perfume, sells 10,000 bottles in 4hrs: Check price and how to buy

Elon Musk Burnt Hair: Tesla CEO Elon Musk has forayed into the fragrance business and launched his own perfume line called 'Burnt Hair'. The 'finest fragrance on Earth', according to Musk, costs Rs 8,400 (i.e $100 USD) per bottle. 

The CEO took Twitter to announce the launch. "The finest fragrance on Earth!," Musk tweeted.

"With a name like mine, getting into the fragrance business was inevitable – why did I even fight it for so long!?" he further tweeted.

Shortly after the official launch, the Tesla CEO announced that more than 10,000 bottles of the perfume 'Burnt Hair' have been sold by the company.

First he tweeted, "Over 5000 bottles of Burnt Hair sold!" and after approximately 4 hours, he further tweeted, "10,000 bottles of Burnt Hair sold!"

He also informed buyers that it is an omnigender product and they can buy it using cryptocurrency as well. He tweeted "And you can pay with Doge!"

According to the official website of the perfume, the product is "The Essence of Repugnant Desire".

“Just like leaning over a candle at the dinner table, but without all the hard work”, the website reads adding “Stand out in a crowd! Get noticed as you walk through the airport”

It is also worth noting that, Musk changed his Twitter bio to "Perfume Salesman".
