Google Doodle winner: The Doodle for Google competition aims to foster young people's creativity and highlight their ingenuity.
Doodle for Google: The 2022 Doodle for Google competition winner was announced by Google on Monday. Shlok Mukherjee, a resident of Kolkata, was named the winner for his motivational Doodle titled 'India on the centre stage'. On November 14, 2022, Shlok's Doodle is being displayed on Google.co.in for 24 hours.
"In the next 25 years, my India will have scientists develop their own eco-friendly robot for humanity's betterment. India will have regular intergalactic travels from Earth to space. India will develop more in Yoga and Ayurveda, and will get stronger in coming years," Shlok wrote while sharing his doodle.
This year’s contest received over 115,000 entries from children in classes 1 to 10 from over 100 cities across India, responding to the theme "In the next 25 years, my India will….", according to a press release by Google.
This year’s Doodle for Google judging panel included actor, filmmaker, producer and TV personality Neena Gupta; Editor-in-Chief at Tinkle Comics, Kuriakose Vaisian; YouTube Creators Slayypoint; and, artist and entrepreneur Alika Bhat, and the Google Doodle team. They had the enormous challenge of selecting 20 finalists from all around the country while judging submissions based on artistic excellence, creativity, fit with the contest's theme, and originality and innovation of approach. Online voting was conducted for the 20 finalists' doodles. Four group winners were chosen in addition to the national champion.

According to Google, Shlok will receive a Rs 500,000 college scholarship and a Rs 200,000 technology package for his school as a reward.
"We were amazed by the creativity and imagination students brought to their entries, and were especially heartened that the advancement of technology and sustainability emerge as common themes across many of the doodles," the Google Doodle page said.
