On May 25, 2024 (Saturday), the DMRC will commence metro train services on all lines from 04:00 am, ensuring accessibility for personnel engaged in election responsibilities. Trains will operate at intervals of 30 minutes until 06:00 am. Following this, regular metro services will resume for the remainder of the day. It's pertinent to note that this schedule modification applies solely to May 25, 2024.

Voting details

This year's Lok Sabha elections unfold across seven phases, with voting for five phases already concluded. The sixth phase, slated for May 25, will witness polling across seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi. The BJP is contesting on all seven seats, while the Aam Aadmi Party and Congress have formed an electoral alliance for these elections. Additionally, voting will take place in several other states including Bihar, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal during this phase. Subsequently, the final phase of voting will occur on June 1, with consolidated results expected on June 4.
