Chandrayaan-3 Latest Update: Rover Pragyan on Wednesday (August 30, 2023) sent a picture of Vikram Lander standing on Moon's surface. In the image, the surface of Moon in the front and a black sky in the backdrop of Vikram lander can be clearly seen. ISRO said in a tweet on Wednesday that the 'image of the mission' was taken by the Navigation Camera onboard the Rover (NavCam).

On Tuesday, Pragyan rover detected the presence of sulphur on Moon's surface. Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) said that the rover also detected the presence of aluminium, calcium, iron, cromium, titanium, manganese, silicon, and oxygen. ISRO also said that the search for hydrogen was underway.

Chandrayaan-3 on August 23, 20323, became the first satellite to land on Moon.

It is also the first satellite in the world to land on the south pole of Moon.
