Agents may not be able to mislead customers about insurance policies after Consumer Ministry gives this suggestion
The main complaints about insurance agents selling policies is that they mislead customers at the time of selling or hide information deliberately related to claims, which resulted into rejections. The Consumer Ministry is taking this matter very seriously after various complaints of customers. The ministry has written a letter to the Financial Services Secretary and gave some suggestions, which, if implemented, can tighten the noose on insurance firms.
