Meanwhile, AIIMS source also said that his condition is improving slowly but he continues to be on the ventilator.

"My dad Mr. Raju Srivastava Ji`s condition is stable and he continues to recover slowly. He is on the ventilator at the moment," Antra said. She further appealed to people to trust the news from his official account on social media and the statement from AIIMS.

Veteran comedian Raju Srivastava`s condition is stable and he continues to recover slowly in the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi.

Srivastava was admitted to the hospital on August 10 after he experienced chest pain and collapsed while working out at the gym. However, he is still on ventilator.

In a statement, the comedian`s daughter Antra Srivastava said, "My dad`s condition is stable and continues to improve slowly.

Srivastava was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on August 10 and underwent an angioplasty the same day. He has been on life support since then.

Request you all to continue your love and prayers for him," she added.

Earlier in the day, several media publications had reported that Srivastava, 58, had gained consciousness 15 days after he was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of AIIMS following a heart attack.

Shikha requested the media and the comedian's fans to only trust statements issued by the family on his official social media pages and the hospital.

"Raju Srivastava Ji's condition is stable and he continues to recover slowly. He is on the ventilator at the moment," she said.

Comedian Sunil Pal has come out with good news for Raju Srivastava`s fans and he informs that the ace comedian has regained consciousness. 

Raju Srivastava was admitted to AIIMS, New Delhi on August 10 after suffering from a heart attack while working out in a gym.

Sunil informs IANS: "Friends, there is good news for all of you that Raju Srivastava has regained consciousness. I always said there will be a miracle."

"It happened and thanks to God and everyone who prayed for his good health. I just wish Raju bhai you live a thousand years."

He continued: "I am not sure because I have not spoken to his family but I have heard he can be removed from the ventilator today. As of now, nothing is confirmed. It all depends on his health. I will be traveling to Delhi in two or three days to see him. He is my big brother and guide and we have to pray for his early recovery."

Sharing his present health status, Pal said: "As far I know, his response is positive and he is recovering. The rest all depends on prayers. We have to think positive. His body is reacting in different ways and that is the reason there are a number of statements being given by everyone. By God`s grace, right now, he is stable. Let`s hope for the best."

Srivastava suffered a heart attack in the morning of August 10 while he was working out in a South Delhi gym and he was rushed to AIIMS, New Delhi. The 58-year-old comedian was complaining that he felt uneasy when he was moved to the hospital.
