Zara Hatke Zara Bachke has become the second highest-grossing film on the opening day for Vicky Kaushal as the lead actor after Uri: The Surgical Strike.
Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan starrer ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’ is entering its second week and it’s still going strong at the box office. According to film trade analysts the romantic drama is expected to cross Rs 50 crore mark at the box office in its second weekend. The film opened to a good response after its release on June 2, but slowed down a bit during the week.

The Laxman Utekar directorial has garnered more than Rs 40 crore in the first 8 days of its release, according to film trade analyst Taran Adarsh. The movie on its opening day collected nearly Rs 5.5 crore and by the first weekend it garnered Rs 37.35 crore at the box office.

Zara Hatke Zara Bachke has become the second highest-grossing film on the opening day for Vicky Kaushal as the lead actor after Uri: The Surgical Strike. In 2019, Vicky’s Uri: The Surgical Strike collected over 8 crore at the box office and it went on to become a blockbuster with a total collection of over Rs 245 crore.
Audiences love Vicky and Sara’s chemistry
Vicky and Sara’s chemistry in the film is being praised by the audiences. The songs of the movie have also been received well by the audiences. The movie revolves around the small town of Indore, where the protagonists fall in love during their college days. The lead pair, Kapil (played by Vicky) and Saumya (played by Sara), get married and stay with Kapil’s family. The couple gets often interrupted by the relatives and their struggle for privacy in a traditional family forms the main storyline of this romantic comedy.
To get away from the house, Kapil and Saumya try to opt for a flat through the government’s programme, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY). However, in order to be eligible for the scheme, they have to get a divorce, which follows later with a comedy of errors.
