Uunchai Box Office Collection: Amitabh Bachchan's movie remains rock-steady on Day 5, analyst expects THIS much collection after Week 1 | Latest Update

Uunchai Box Office Collection Day 5: Filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya's movie Uunchai remained rock-steady at the Box office on Tuesday. However, the film witnessed a marginal drop of 6.38% on day 5 as compared to day 4, said movie trade analyst Taran Adarsh.

Amitabh Bachchan starrer movie earned Rs 1.76 crore on day 5 (Tuesday) at the box office. With this, the overall collection stood at Rs 13.80 crore in the last five days. The film was released last Friday - November 11.

According to the film critic Adarsh, Uunchai continues to perform better in evening shows. Also, the analyst is expecting a total of Rs 16.75 cr + collection from the movie in Week 1.

Friday: Rs 1.81 crore

Saturday: Rs 3.64 crore

Sunday: Rs 4.71 crore

Monday: Rs 1.88 crore

Tuesday: Rs 1.76 crore

Total: Rs 13.80 crore (approx.)

Uunchai story
Directed by filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya, "Uunchai" centres on four friends in their twilight years, played by Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani and Danny Denzongpa. It also stars Parineeti Chopra, Neena Gupta, Sarika and Nafisa Ali Sodhi in pivotal roles.

The film is produced by Barjatya's family banner 'Rajshri'. "Uunchai" marks Sooraj Barjatya's return to the big screen seven years after the release of his romantic drama "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo', starring Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor Ahuja.
