Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar Review: Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer movie "Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar" or TJMM hit the big screen on Wednesday, March 8. The film is directed by Luv Ranjan, who is known for his work in films like Pyar Ka Punchnama 1 and 2, Aakashvani, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and De De Pyar De.
TJMM is Ranbir's first attempt at a rom-com after 2013's hit "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani". Kapoor's last theatrical release was "Brahmastra: Part One Shiva" which became one of the biggest blockbusters of 2022. Also, TJMM marks Shardhaa's comeback after 4 years.
According to film critic Taran Adarsh, the film is a refreshing take on romance and relationships. Both the actors performed very well. Shraddha Kapoor's performance is terrific in the movie, while Ranbir Kapoor is outstanding, he added.
In one word, Adarsh called the film a "WINNER". He said that after Pyar Ka Punchnama, Pyar Ka Punchnama 2, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety; LuvRanjan once again ticked the right box with TJMM.

According to Adarsh, the film's first-day collection till 5.15 pm in the national chain is around Rs 5.40 crore. Out of which, TJMM collected 2.58 crore in PVR, 1.80 crore in INOX, and 1.02 crore in Cinepolis.
