Shehzada Box Office Collection Day 1: Kartik Aaryan movie disappoints despite 1+1 offer | Check storyline, IMDB rating, cast and other details

Shehzada Box Office Collection Day 1: Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan's film "Shehzada" has taken a slow start at the box office. Despite of buy-one-get-one-free offer, the movie was unable to create magic on Day 1 and the opening day collection disappointed, according to the film critic Taran Adarsh.

The film, which was released on February 17 (Friday), has only earned Rs 6 crore on its opening day, Adarsh said. Maha Shivratri holiday on Day 2 may improve business, however, he said that the film needs bigger jumps for a respectable weekend.

Shehzada Release Day Postponed

Earlier, the film was scheduled to release on February 10. But because of the tremendous performance of SRK's film "Pathaan" at the box office, the producers - Bhushan Kumar, Allu Arvind, Aman Gill, and Aaryan - decided to push the release date of the film. 

They added that "out of respect for 'Pathaan'" they postponed the release date of "Shehzada". And, the film was released this Friday.

Directed by Rohit Dhawan, the commercial entertainer features Kartik Aaryan, Kriti Sanon, Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal, Ronit Roy, and Sachin Khedekar. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Allu Arvind, Aman Gill, and Kartik Aaryan while the music is composed by Pritam

Shehzada Storyline

The story of the film revolves around the Kartik Aryan character 'Bantu', who is despised by his father Valmiki (Paresh Rawal). 

Samara, his boss shows him affection and love until he discovers that the Jindals (Ronit Roy and Manisha Koirala) are his parents. Bantu decides to seek Jindals' love and protect them from the threats they are facing.
