The third day collection disappointed movie critics as Akshay Kumar movie merely collected Rs 6.5 crore at the end of Day 3 on Saturday. In the last three days, the overall collection stood at Rs 21.1 crore.

Earlier, Aamir Khan-starrer Laal Singh Chaddha that released on a holiday-weekend on the same day as 'Raksha Bandhan' turned out to be a big disappointment and failed to cheer the box office.
As per movie critic Taran Adarsh, Aamir Khan's "Laal Singh Chaddha" was a big disappointment at the box office, while Raksha Bandhan collection further dipped on Day 2.

Expressing disappointment from Aamir Khan's movie, Taran Adarsh wrote, "Aamir Khan’s comeback vehicle LSC runs out of fuel midway. Lacks a captivating screenplay to enthrall you [second half goes downhill]… Has some terrific moments, but lacks fire in totality."
As far as collection of Laal Singh Chaddha in the last two days are concerned, Forest Gup adaptation made 18.96 crore, while Akshay Kumar's 'Raksha Bandhan' earned Rs 14.60 crore on Thursday and Friday.
Mumbai-based exhibitor Akshay Rathi, who runs theatres in Chhattisgarh, told PTI that Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh, said these are "turbulent times for box office".
We all think that films of superstars like Aamir and Akshay should do better but these are turbulent times for box office. There is not enough equilibrium in the consumption patterns of audience, it is haphazard.
"These guys have the potential to open with big numbers but we haven't seen such strange figures come out for them in a long time. They are dismally low, Rathi told PTI.
Meanwhile, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science (AMPAS) has described "Laal Singh Chaddha" as a "faithful" Indian adaptation of the Hollywood film "Forrest Gump", reported the news agnency.
Directed by Advait Chandan of "Secret Superstar" fame and adapted by noted actor Atul Kulkarni, "Laal Singh Chaddha" is the official remake of the 1994 Tom Hanks-starrer.
Superstar Aamir Khan headlines the Hindi version of the American movie which had featured Hanks as the titular character Forrest.
The Academy on Saturday shared a video montage of the two films on its official Twitter page.
"Robert Zemeckis and Eric Roth's sweeping story of a man who changes the world with kindness receives a faithful Indian adaptation in Advait Chandan and Atul Kulkarni's ?Laal Singh Chaddha' feat. Aamir Khan in the role made famous by Tom Hanks," the California-based institution said.
"We're immensely humbled! Thank you so much," tweeted Aamir Khan Productions, one of the banners behind "Laal Singh Chaddha".
