Phone Bhoot Trailer: Katrina turns 'ghost', reaches out to 'ghostbusters' Ishaan Khattar and Siddhant Chaturvedi | WATCH

Phone Bhoot trailer: The trailer of much anticipated horror-comedy film, 'Phone Bhoot' has been released on Monday. Helmed by Gurmeet Singh, the film is written by Jasvinder Bath and Ravi Shankaran.

The film trailer introduces Katrina Kaif as ghost and duo Ishaan Khattar and Siddhant Chaturvedi as ghostbusters. In the trailer released, Katrina is seen proposing a business idea to the ghostbusters duo with the intention to help ghosts attain moksha (freedom). 

The trio is seen facing a major barrier-- Jackie Shroff, who seems to play the antagonist in the film and wants to spoil the plan of the trio. The 2 minute 49-second-long trailer gives us a glimpse of movie and leaves the audience in splits. The trailer also has a tinge of references from older Bollywood films, including 'Koi Mil Gayaa' and Siddhant’s 2019 film 'Gully Boy' in the trailer. 

The horror comedy stars Katrina Kaif, Jackie Shroff, Sheeba Chaddha, Ishaan Khattar and Siddhant Chaturvedi in pivotal role.

The film is produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under the banner of Excel Entertainment. The production house shared the trailer on Monday and tweeted: "Iss line ki ab sabhi liney khul gayi hai, kripya phone lagaye aur #PhoneBhoot ko bulaye."

Producer Farhan Akhtar too tweeted the trailer, "New business idea lekar aa rahe hai, #Phonebhoot Watch the #PhoneBhootTrailer now!" on Monday.

The promotion of the film has been started. While this film is Katrina Kaif's third venture with Excel Entertainment after 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara' and 'Baar Baar Dekho', it is the first time that these three stars will be seen together on the big screen. The film is all set to be released on November 4, 2022.
