Pathaan Box office collection day 1: Shah Rukh Khan's film beats records of War, KGF 2 Hindi

Pathaan Box Office collection: Shah Rukh Khan has once again won fans’ hearts with his spectacular performance in the movie Pathaan which released in theatres on Wednesday ahead of the Republic Day. On day one, the movie surpassed the records of Hrithik Roshan starrer War (2019) and KGF 2 Hindi (2022).

The film crossed Rs 52.50 crores, Rs 52 crore (nett) and Rs 50 crore (nett) upon their release. According to analyst Taran Adarsh the movie is a blockbuster.

Pathaan Storyline

Pathaan is an action thriller film directed by Siddharth Anand, featuring Shah Rukh Khan, John Abraham and Deepika Padukone.

In the movie, a Pakistani officer is affected by India's decision to end Jammu and Kashmir's special status (article 370) in the story, and he wants India to pay for this "mistake." He approaches Jim, an ex-RAW agent who has been wronged by his own people. His coworker, a former ISI agent named Rubai (Deepika Padukone), has questionable motives. Pathaan, Jim, and Rubina lock eyes and horns as they cross continents and play a dangerous game of betrayal and vengeance. They all have a vested interest in either destroying or protecting the worlds they believe in, and they are all racing to do so.

Pathaan release date

The film released on a day ahead of the Republic Day that is on January 25, 2023. The movie was already in talks after the trailer was released and all eyes were on how it would perform on screen. So far the movie has got a stellar response and is expected to do good given the Republic Day holiday on Thursday.
